Scott Morrison has announced he'll deliver the Budget on April 2 next year, a month earlier than usual.
That narrows down the possible dates for the next federal election dramatically, given he's previously said he would deliver a budget before sending Australians to the polls.
If you're up for a punt, take your best guess below. If not, skip the game and head to the spoilers.
Before you play, read the rules:
A standard general election (where all Lower House seats and half of the Senate spots are up for grabs) must be held sometime between August 4, 2018 and May 18, 2019.
Elections in Australia are only called on Saturdays. So we've narrowed down the dates for you to Saturdays in 2019.
OK, make your best guess
Spoiler: 11 May or 18 May
I'm guessing May 4th just to mix things up.
I'm gonna say May 18th so they can hang on to what little power they have left as long as they can.
