If evidence is found that Trump did know about the meeting, GG.
With that out of the way, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't some people testify that Trump knew about the meeting, or was that just speculation?
Mueller likely has evidence that proves Trump is lying on this.
Don Jr's phone made a call to a blocked number in between receiving and making calls related to the Trump Tower meeting, and for some reason, nobody Republican wants to know who he called.
And I bet Mueller already knows who he called.
I'll bet it was Tudd
Wellp that's proof of perjury.
He was making a direct line to Karimatrix's desk at the Kremlin obv.
well, was he really gonna say "yes I knew everything"?
Ofc not, he'll say no even if shown a video of him doing his crimes before being asked!
Not explicitly that he DID, as far as I know, just that they can imagine that he wouldn't given how obsequious his kids are, especially considering that the meeting was literally right downstairs from him, and that his kids met with him immediately before and imemdiateoy after the meeting.
The notion that Trump was involved from the get-go is also circumstantially supported by phone records from his kids to a blocked number during arrangements / negotiations for the meeting (within minutes). If the blocked number can be linked to Trump, it not only proves perjury all around, but also stands as solid evidence of criminal intent to conspire.

Not perjury, because you're not under oath, but it is illegal to make false statements to the FBI
Making false statements to federal agents is susceptible to Title 18, US Code Section 1001, and is essentially the same as perjury, and are held accountable under the same standards. Falsification is falsification, oath or not.
"Trump Tower? What is that? Never heard of it, never been there."
Damn Mueller asking such sneaky perjury trap questions like "did you know about this meeting"
I would hate to be questioned by somebody like Mueller
I would be immediately screwed
I mean you probably wouldn't be too screwed if you were legitimately innocent
Uhhhh
You smug libtards! This is why Trump became POTUS GEOTUS! We're tired of being talked down to like this! Why aren't we looking at Hillary's business deals with Russia instead?
I wonder what Trump's excuse is going to be for why he blocked his number when calling them
To be fair, it is never a good idea to speak to the law if you are a suspect, regardless of whether or not you're guilty.
Your testimony will not help you.
This is of course viewing it from the lens of a private citizen whose only interest is self-preservation. The President should be held to a higher standard, of course; testifying in this case may not help him, but it does help America. It's his duty.
The thing is, you don't know if you've ACTUALLY never unknowingly violated any kind of state or federal law because there's literally tens of thousands of them. That's why you never speak to the police unless you have a lawyer or total immunity. It not even about being innocent or not.
