THE CARD GAME REIMAGINED
A collaboration between legendary card game designer Richard Garfield and Valve, Artifact is a digital card game that combines deeply-strategic, competitive gameplay with the rich
setting of Dota 2. The result is an immersive and visually-stunning trading card game unlike any other.
STRATEGY UNBOUNDED
Wield your deck across three lanes of combat, answer every move of your opponent with one of your own. Unlimited hand size. Unlimited number of units you control. Unlimited mana
you can employ. It’s up to you to decide the best way to navigate the constantly shifting tide of battle.
FUN WITH FRIENDS
If you’ve played card games around a kitchen table, you know the enjoyment that can come with house rules. Artifact allows you and your friends complete control in creating a
tournament. Simply select your elimination or non-elimination format and deck constraints; then, challenge your friends to a crucible of your own design.
COMPETE GLOBALLY
Want to test your skill against the world at large? Valve-sponsored gauntlets and tournaments will give players the opportunity to not just play Artifact for the joy of mastery, but to win
prizes based upon their level of play.

I'm just wondering how many negative reviews are gonna have "Half", "Life" and "3" in it.
finally, the game everyone has been waiting for
Was that a shitty marvel rip off intro? Why even show the other games that they don't support anymore?
Where that acknowledged Half-Life series exist (e.x. Easter eggs)?
In their ripoff of the Marvel intro you can see HL2 for about 1/5 of a second.
Well, Least it okay ripoff or referenced from 'new' (Post-2013) Valve team.
Truly, we are blessed this day.
Is anyone from here actualy going to buy this game to see how it is or is facepunch going to put an embargo on artifact?
That's like 30 minutes in Valve Time
hey at least they made a sfm video for it.
been a while.
if they did it the way blizz did hearthstone, I'd be more interested but honestly fuck paying money for a game that practically requires a constant flow of it. it's bad enough to be a f2p hearthstone player; the fact that I still need to play a price for even PLAYING artifact is a deterrant enough for me, and I think a lot of other people aswell.
That Valve logo can go fuck itself.
I can't believe they managed to do something even worse than total silence.
All I can say is, a fool and his money are easily parted.
Money: Exists
Valve: [red eyes meme]
Like this game is such an obvious cash grab its painful, valve is long dead and all what we have now is someone else wearing its skin.
Im excited to see them jump straight off the deep end and review rig the game.
Yeah I love seeing beautifully animated character models turn into static imagines on virtual cards.
When does the joke end and we get another single player game?
Next game will be artifact 2 in 10 years
So I see the classic valve logo has been buried alongside the rest of their imagination and creativity. Great.
Gabe said we won't be getting those as they wouldn't be using the lessons they learned with microtransactions. He said "a really sort of classic product"
if that shitty marvel ripoff intro replaces Coach's head with a valve embedded in it im gonna shit
They even fucking removed that from CSGO with the UI update.
No he didn't, you're entirely misinterpreting that interview. The interview was about the way they develop games, not about what the style of games they make will be. The "classic style of product" was talking about how it's unlikely they'll make a game using those previous techniques that don't take into account the lessons they learned while making their later games.
"But you know if you want to do another Half-Life game and you want to ignore everything we've learned in shipping Portal 2 and in shipping all the updates on the multiplayer side, that seems like a bad choice"
Gabe Newell on Valve's game development plans and the possibilit..
Besides, he said on Reddit last year that they were working on singleplayer games.
I never actually saw the interview. Thanks for informing
I will not hold my breath for them.
I can't tell if that Valve logo is infuriating or pitiful but either way that was probably the most painful 3 seconds of a youtube video I have ever watched
None, once Valve amends the steam review policy to ban "trolling."
(Said policy will never be applied to any games beyond Artifact.)
