I highly doubt it'll be of the quality of Blackout 2020

Quality Blade Runner anime is possible
But I doubt crunchy will hire the talents working on this short.
This has Shinichiro Watanabe (“Cowboy Bebop,” “Samurai Champloo”) tapped as creative producer.
Yeah ik, and Paul Chadeisson, one of the designers on BR2049 and one of my fav scifi designer, worked with him for the backgrounds. Tons of huge talents on the animation as well.
That's awesome! Oh and I meant this upcoming anime has Watanabe as creative producer! I'm super stoked.
Holy shit, there is hope
Please give them a real budget crunchy
Fingers crossed. I know the OP post is gonna get funny reacts because of what people expect with new adaptations / crunchyroll stigma but still, this can be really really sweet.
I'm really sad that Denis Villeneuve isn't doing another film. That movie was fucking art.
oh shit this looks fucking RAD
I'd watch the shit out of that
Now this is some anime news I can get behind
Yes please
I hope they get enough budget to make it awesome
Villeneuve should really just get sole ownership of every sci-fi property made from 1965 to 2000, the world would be a far better place
It sucks that it bombed. Really goes to show how much you can do with a budget and a team of people who actually wanna tell a good story...
mmmm
I like this
Galaxy Quest 2
I hope they keep it 2D animation and not 3D like most of that studio's work. They're also making the new Ultraman Netflix series.

Blackout 2022 has 2d characters, 3d/2d backgrounds, and 3d vehicles. It's a good balance imo, but yeah 3d characters would probably blow.
rutger hauer cameo when
It also had a fantastic soundtrack!
He is doing Dune though, so I have high hopes for that
