https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46413370 The minister who resigned over Theresa May's Brexit strategy says another referendum may be the only option if MPs reject the deal. Science and universities minister Sam Gyimah quit after Mrs May pulled the UK out of the EU's Galileo sat-nav system, following a row with Brussels. He said the decision showed the UK will be "hammered" in Brexit talks. Mr Gyimah is the 10th person to resign over Mrs May's Brexit agreement. He said he intends to vote against it. Hmmmm...
Imagine someone tells you that you have the opportunity to jump from a small cliff into a big net and you will make $1000 by doing it. So you agree to do it. You get to the jump site and its a 250m drop into rocks with a $1500 entrance fee. Lol sorry you cant change your mind now.
The irony of having multiple MP votes but only one public vote.
It has been pointed out that the UK would end up dropping out before the government could prepare another referendum in time.
What do we do when this deal inevitably doesn't get through parliament though?
If the deal doesn't get through, then its No Deal, as theres nothing to sign with the EU when March comes around. This is why May is pushing hard.
You really think the EU would sign a FTA with the UK after we've just refused to pay the divorce bill? The UK tried to stop free movement being a thing when we were still in the EU and we were told no, as the Single Market and freedom of movement are inextricably linked.
The EU has offered a canada style FTA if the UK didn't want in the single market.
That's assuming we didn't leave with No Deal and paid the divorce bill though.
