https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46415574 Short of a miracle, it now seems almost certain that the deal will fail, which means there is a high chance the government will not make it to Christmas and there will be a snap election and/or a second EU referendum in January or February. Fuckin ell
if brexit doesn't wind up happening after all this i'm gonna laugh my ass off
Even Liz Truss would do a better job of negotiation at this point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0M1YEf9s0g
You may be laughing, but I'll be sighing with relief so loudly you'll hear me in the states

I get the feeling they will cancel Brexit right before the deadline.
SrgNTO nAd stbbele!!! BLOOOOOOOOOOO PASOPTRZ! BRSTIXE means BERXXXXXX!!!
Imagine saying you won't go through with it and the EU decides to kick you out anyway.
Erm, are you ok?
Lots of money wasted over a failed "deal'.
Possible constitutional crisis being thrown into the mix for laughs! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46419790
And getting ready for biggest dip of voting their party in current polling opinions to 30 to 25%.
If the parliament had a guarantee of financial and satellite access after the agreement ends, then they would be way more willing to sign. With nothing but a 'political declaration' on a future relationship, the amount of money being handed over isn't worth the risk.
But I thought the UK had so much soft power and bargaining power, how come they're getting such a bad deal
London will lose €800bn to Frankfurt due to Brexit The UK is already throwing everything away with this nonsense. I mean I know you saw the thread. You went in there just to rate me dumb ._.
something something stupid games something something stupid prizes
The EU was never going to hand over satellite access nor a full financial passport, but I think their angle of not providing a better guarantee on a future relationship is where it went wrong, the problem the EU now faces is that the deal was probably too bad that its forced the UK into a no-deal, which wasn't the overall aim for the EU at all, as I've mentioned on the Discord and on here before, a UK without regulatory alignment to the EU will just be a cancer on the side of Europe.
I'm watching the Brexit Committee with Theresa May on BBC Parliament and never seen someone try and bullshit so much in one place. She shows complete disregard for Scotland's situation and how much they are going to lose, she cannot even give a straight answer whether or not the UK will be ultimately poorer in any form of Brexit. I'm starting to wonder if Boilrig has been May all along.
huh, you don't say :V
If I was the EU, I would certainly not give the UK a financial passport, though I would leave the clearing houses as there is a risk of retaliation from the Americans if you ban non-eu countries from being able to clear euros. But the satellite thing just goes to say the EU will view the UK as a hostile nation in the future, though thanks to the UK building part of the satellites, I'm sure GCHQ will find themselves a backdoor.
