TLDR:
Parliament passed a binding motion forcing the government to release its full legal advice on the Brexit deal
The government refused to do it anyway
That's a constitutional crisis
Parliament is now moving to hold the government in contempt, will take an initial vote on Tuesday
Tuesday was supposed to be day 1 of debate on the Brexit deal, we guess that will be delayed now

Alan Duncan talked about steam engines and their invention. He's bursting into fits of giggles in this debate.
Get on our level

Shit is getting crazier each day as we get closer to D-Day on the 11th.

Shit or get off the pot.
Can we like, just not do any of this and fucking throw the entire thing out already.
The shitshow is just showing more and more than the government can't handle anything and that this whole thing is a massive farce that wont do us any good.
Just fucking cancel it already jesus fuck.
One half of me is excited to witness all of this insanity in real time, and the other half is terrified of what the aftermath is going to look like. We're four months out from the most significant social and political upheaval in a generation, and nobody knows what the fuck is going on.
its not D-Day its BX-Day
Can't wait to see May's approval shoot to 100% for being so brave in ignoring parliament...
After Trump was elected I never imagined the UK would undergo a constitutional crisis before we did.
Brexit did start before Trump, its probably an indicator that we're not far off.
I'd like to believe this is what happens when you ignore a fact based approach to thinking and go with emotion, it just isn't sustainable when reality catches up to you.
Really beginning to think I'm going to see Theresa May actually morph into a corn cob while screaming "I'm not owned!" like in that @dril tweet.
that's all good and all but ENGLAND WILL BE OURS AGAIN
This whole fascinating ordeal has done nothing but but prove just how stupid this entire brexit deal has been.
I have absolutely no faith in any of our current leaders.
That was the first time ever that the UK Parliament held the government in contempt. Of course that's because in less bizarro times, they'd just topple the government rather than bothering with a contempt motion, but there you go
its so fucking bizzare that brexit is the thing they so totally are committed to. Imagine if they put this much effort into tax dodgers and poverty.
May's gonna go on ITV and Corbyn's gonna go on BBC so they'll have to put TV's on the opposing stands tuned to the other station so each politician can debate.
May wanted to go with the BBC, Corbyn wanted ITV's format and the BBC has pulled out of hosting anything,
There isn't going to be a debate; it was nothing but a distraction anyway.
I think BBC pulled out as they wanted representation from other parties too
