WASHINGTON — Special counsel Robert Mueller’s prosecutors have told defense lawyers in recent weeks that they are “tying up loose ends” in their investigation, providing the
clearest clues yet that the long-running probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election may be coming to its climax, potentially in the next few weeks, according to multiple
sources close to the matter.
A Flynn sentencing memo is due Tuesday and memos about Manafort and Cohen are slated for Friday. All three documents are expected to yield significant new details on what
cooperation the three of them provided to the Russia investigation.
There has been much speculation that Mueller might file his memo in Manafort’s case under seal in order to prevent public disclosure of the additional crimes his office believes
Manafort committed when he allegedly lied to prosecutors and broke a plea deal after agreeing to cooperate. But Peter Carr, spokesman for the special counsel, confirmed to Yahoo
News on Monday that the Manafort memo “will be public,” although he added there could be some portions that are redacted or filed as a sealed addendum.
“They’ve been telling people they are tying up loose ends and trying to conclude,” said one source familiar with the communications between Mueller’s office and defense lawyers who
represent key witnesses in the case. That message was reinforced to some degree Monday when Mueller’s office talked to congressional investigators as part of an ongoing
discussion about whether new subpoenas for testimony by House and Senate committees might interfere with Mueller’s investigation.
The response, which surprised one investigator, was that it would not, at least in matters relating to alleged obstruction by the White House in the Russia investigation itself. “What
we were told is that the investigation has reached a mature enough stage that they’ve basically talked to everybody they want to talk to,” said a knowledgeable source who asked not to
be identified because of the sensitivity of the matter.
Mueller’s office declined any public comment when asked to confirm that account, leaving open the possibility that there still could be a few witnesses yet to be questioned.

I have to admit, I'm still worried Mueller won't go after Trump himself, won't recommend the President be indicted. He's almost certainly going after Trump Jr, but the thought Donald might get away irks me.

If by some miracle Trump is actually legitimately ignorant of everything his people did with Russians, I would believe Mueller. However there's no way he's getting left off for the obstruction of justices firing Comey
and everything else.

I dunno. A lot of Trumpian try to say "Mueller is close to finishing!" just to get people to wonder what the hold up is.
I only will trust Mueller being done when he says himself he's done.
Individual 1 has to be outed by both the House and Senate, but Mueller can still go after everyone else surrounding him. And once his president is over, he's (hopefully) going to be indicted immediately. Trump's election will literally be him fighting for his life.

This point cannot be overemphasized, it's a very deliberate propaganda tactic that's been used pretty consistently over the course of the investigation to float the possibility of the investigation coming to a variety of news outlets in order to undermine people's faith in it when the outlets start reporting him being 'close' and then nothing really coming from it. It's an exploitation of how solidly locked down the investigation has been and should always be taken with a grain of salt
So what happens when Congress and the Supreme Court ignore all his findings?
Well the House won't and SCOTUS won't get involved unless they try to indict Trump. But if nothing happens gotta wait till 2020 and hope Democrats don't nominate Hillary again.
