Lol, he looks like a hobo in that pic.
Looks like the 'Roids aren't treating him well...
*Milk shakes
i got more of a gorilla vibe for some reason mans roided out
Christ, that's him? Anyways, I would gladly watch this film.
He honestly looks pretty good for a guy in his 70s, I don't know what seniors you guys usually see. He could probably still snap most people in half.
If we didn't use fossil fuels we would be nowhere near where we are now.

Naw, we would have just cut down and burned shitloads more trees.
Who wouldn't?
Apparently the first working electric car was build in 1895, it's kind of fun thinking how the world would look if we did more R&D towards electrical fuel. Wiki
Sounds like the plot to a schlocky action film. I’d watch it.
Because he's considered Republican, but he said something not-very-"Republican", so some users here were broken and didn't know what to do.
The electric car had a big reveal in the 90's with the GM EV1. Unfortunately that's also around the time when the SUV took off. GM intentionally killed the EV1 so they could use those production lines to build SUV's instead. SUV culture has only become stronger since then, we're building SUV's on freakin' car frames now. Ford's even killing off most of their car lines because SUV's and Trucks sell better.
Fossil fuel goes so fucking far behind that he might as well Terminate the human race.
No it's because people still have the image of how he looked during his term as Governor, it was his last major public appearance. People expect him to still look like this: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0c/SchwarzeneggerJan2010.jpg/421px-SchwarzeneggerJan2010.jpg Not everything is a political smear, and I hate the mindset that everything must be partisan in some way.
Fair enough, but you can see where I'd get that.
That's an unbelievably stupid idea. Fossil fuels are a fantastic source of energy that jump started our high tech civilisation. Now it is time to move to better energies.
Oil be back.
Well we'd be in the year he time traveled to, still
You're a fucking child.
There are many times where we had the chance to develop new technology and we didn't. We had 40 years warning on fossile fuels causing climate change, and we barely spoke about it until 10 years ago, and today we still don't take it seriously while scientists are up in arms about how fucking bad it's going to be.
40 years? Scientists first understood the effects of carbon on global temperatures, and hypothesized that human industrial activity would eventually lead to warming in 1896. Though of course back then they thought it would take thousands of years, because they didn't predict the insane rate of advancement over the following century.
I was specifically talking about the oil industry and when they turned from climate research to climate denial. From Wikipedia: In July 1977, a senior scientist of Exxon James Black reported to company's executives that there was a general scientific agreement at that time that the burning of fossil fuels was most likely manner in which mankind was influencing global climate change. In 1982, Exxon's environmental affairs office circulated an internal report to Exxon's management which said that the consequences of climate change could be catastrophic, and that a significant reduction in fossil fuel consumption would be necessary to curtail future climate change. It also said that "there is concern among some scientific groups that once the effects are measurable, they might not be reversible." Once they established that burning fossil fuels was indeed causing changes to the atmosphere that could be catastrophic if not handled, that realised that promoting action would actively harm and ultimately destroy their business and the entire industry with it. So climate researched was shelved and taking it's place was a new propaganda campaign aimed at convincing everyone that climate change was absolutely not real. This campaign was extremely effective because today, 30 years later, roughly half the Americans and a quarter of Europeans do not believe climate change is real / a problem.
Fossil fuels had there place helping us move forward relatively quickly, but we really should have started pushing to move away from them in the 70s.
The irony here is priceless lol. Get over yourself.
How do we know he's not going to try to do this and then accidentally become the meteor responsible for killing the dinosaurs, thus creating fossil fuels in the first place?
