These are pretty decent working idioms but wow that made me laugh PETA at it again with the viral marketing campaigns
Which time. There's to many times to count.
Remember when Peta paid a supermodel to strip naked and put on fur coats and drink out of the toilet

Who's going to be the test tube for this?
Thats hot
How else is he supposed to bring home the bagels?
These are surprisingly well-done alternatives. Same syllable structure, they rhyme with the original and they keep the meaning.

All of them are either dumb or lose their meaning. Feed a fed horse sounds better on the surface imho, but the issue is "Beat a dead horse" works because the context because it's in regards getting something out of something with nothing left to give. The context is changed when the saying is about giving something to something that doesn't need it.
Their viral meme marketing seems to be a success.
"feed a fed horse" what does that even mean
PETA supports the gross overfeeding of domesticated animals
Who keeps funding these dipshits?
People who do no research and assume that the "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals" actually give half a shit about animals.
"Feed two birds with one scone" is the type of thing that I would say normally anyway.

can't believe PETA hates plants
That comparison is just...wow.
Bring home the bagels so that I can put bacon in them. Mmmm, that's feeding two birds with one bagel. ...Am I doing this right, PETA?
sorry, ravioli has cheese in it which is an abusive dairy product to cows. /s
bacon and onion bagels
Half empty half full
The war on plants keeps on going for PETA... The feed two birds with one scone sounds like something Chris O'Neil would say in a funny voice.
