Last week, Fallout 76 fans lit the world on fire over the revelation that the “West tek canvas carrying bag” promised to $200 collector edition customers was in fact swapped out for a cheap-looking nylon bag that doesn’t match the description or the image whatsoever.
But it does seem as if Bethsoft has finally gotten back on track and is planning to replace all of the crappy bags with the product actually shown on the CE preorders. Just note that you’ll have to put in the request yourself.
Congratulations on Bethesda for literally doing the bare minimum to avoid get sued for false advertising.
Watch the bag be 1/12th scale or something.
And when they say the canvas bag, they mean that everyone is getting one
to share
lol in the end it costed them more than if they did it right the 1st time
Too bad they aren't getting a better game.
Regardless, I hope nobody forgets the inane bullshit Bethesda tried to pull with Fallout 76. Forgive if you must but do not forget.
An extra hour in the ballpit.
I say this as the guy who manages Facepunch 76's discord and had the group meet up on two occasions.
They should have announced this *next* year instead of *this* year. As it stands the game is a mess, and people are saying that the recent patch actually broke things.
I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that in a year the game will meet its potential more, but in the meantime I advise against picking this up. Unless you're a diehard fallout fan who owns literally all the games (even that one) and needs this in your collection (like me)
It's a shitty game at the moment but it's a great time killer. And I enjoy the shit we get into in our meetups.
I want the bag. I have no interest in the game but I want the west tek bag.
Todd must've gone deaf with how much the company lawyers were screaming in his ear about the serious ramifications of false advertising. Nice to know something got through their collective heads, at least.
