Hello, I've had gmod for a couple of years now and I haven't been able to connect to any servers on my own. "Failed to connect after 6 retries", for any server on any mode. The thing is i can connect to servers if my friends are on them by joining them through steam. I don't understand, It shouldn't be a firewall problem for then i wouldn't be able to connect of friends and such, or at least i believe. Manually putting into dev console, connect "serverip", doesn't work either. I'm all out of options here and I need your help.
