Hi!
So I'm trying to help a friend of mine who has some problem since today. Rust worked fine yesterday for him, no new updates with rust and he's done nothing with the computer.
The problem is everytime he starts rust through steam he gets the error "Couldn't load root assetbundle - bundles/bundles". I'm guessing it can't open / find the Bundles file and doesn't load any game files? Not sure if we can find any debug log anywhere?
So here's what we tried so far:
*verifying the files multiple times (also removing the Bundles file and verifying)
*reinstalling rust, reinstalling steam once aswell.
*tried opening the game with Rust.exe (but ah, doesn't seem like it's using the anticheat then and we can't connect to any server)
*tried opening the game in windowed mode (yeah we were out of ideas)
*we opened the game through Rust.exe and checked that the versions matched in the console, looked fine.
Not sure what to check anymore really, he said it worked fine for him yesterday evening and the problem started today!
Any clue what it could be? Unity problem? Client problem? Other?

Ah, it was solved. He finally reinstalled his OS and it worked hahaha.
And it started happening again today apparently? No clue what it could be.
