The flippening is happening now.
In marked contrast, though, when it was discovered that Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign was guilty of violations involving nearly $2 million – an amount that dwarfs the $280,000 in Cohen’s case – the Obama Justice Department decided not to prosecute. Instead, the matter was quietly disposed of by a $375,000 fine by the Federal Election Commission.
one of these things is not like the other. Instructing a lawyer to break the law and then cover it up is markably different from accounting errors.
This is Fox we're talking about. They've got the integrity of wet toilet paper.
I was gonna post a thread for this but I'll just throw it in here: the Times reports that SDNY is set to indict Trump if he loses in 2020

And while the prevailing view at the Justice Department is that a sitting president cannot be indicted, that does not mean a president cannot be charged after leaving office. The prosecutors in New York have examined the statute of limitations on the campaign finance violations and believe charges could be brought against Mr. Trump if he is not re-elected, according to a person briefed on the matter.
The best dealmaker, lmao.
I doubt Trump will last till 2020 though, he will most likely bleed to death from his fingers because of rage tweeting.
Just discovered the Mueller, She Wrote podcast yesterday and holy goddamn I've been missing out.
How convenient that one of their guests yesterday was a constitutional lawyer who spoke on the legality of a president being indicted on state charges while in office. According to her, while she doesn't expect Robert Mueller to break with precedent and indict Trump on federal charges (obstruction, conspiracy, and so on) it is apparently perfectly legal, though gutsy as hell, for an individual state to prosecute a sitting president.
Gonna have to check this out
You're gonna need some bulletproof fucking evidence to make that happen. I imagine smurfy will quite literally explode if it does.
