So after the optimization update a couple of months back, Rust have been steadily lagging more and more, and it seems to be a major issue for few. Especially if the map size is huge with a lots of entities, players start to notice fps lag/spikes and jusut general lag during firefights. Please optimize over adding small things like HAB or the m39...
Also, BP's should be revamped, why are we still getting maces in elites? Why do we need to research a machete?
The last two updates have induced what I now call my "daily crash time-out" which consists of 2+ straight hours of launch/load/crash - launch/load/crash - launch/load/crash.
CPU usage goes to 99% and then it starts writing it to disk which then goes to 100% and ultimately freezes everything. Shutting down/restarting my computer does nothing. I literally have to just keep going through this cycle until it "passes" and I can the game quasi normally for the next 24 hours.
32GB of RAM, 12GB of GPU, 2TB of hard drive space. I run No Man's Sky on high settings (minus motion blur) but this game just eats up all my RAM and then starts crashing.
Wish the devs focused on important things, the lag has been an issue to so many players, the main player base really just wants the core mechanics of the game with no lag, not updates with electricity and hot air balloon and no optimization.
@RUST DEVSS helppp!
