Okay, I don't like Pelosi a whole lot as a person But as a politiican, she's been remarkably progressive for her time in office. The idea that she'd just suddenly flip to a position she's never really publicly held in office, is kind of, well, baffling to me?

its probably more distrust of her than anything. its just her whole class of democrats have a terrible track record in my eyes. I think part of her was glad to help the progressive caucus but at the same time she needed to prevent another freedom caucus so she aquiesssed to their demands.

I bet in 5 years, the fanatacism about OAC will die down as she will have had to make pragmatic decisions and shed some idealism in that time frame So in that vein, I find it hard to genuinely hate politicians like Pelosi, who has done many things I disagree with, but still represents a genuine progressive position for many years.
