I recently moved some models from L4D2 to Garry's Mod for my own use, but I've had texture problems on one series of models in particular - the Bless Online characters here- Steam Workshop.
I've moved plenty of survivors over before, but never had a problem like this before. It seems to be a problem with these models alone. The problem is dynamic, the black textures often move as I move around the model, leading me to think it has something to do with reflections or shadows, but I don't know enough about anything to be sure or fix it.
It seems to affect only armor, so maybe it has something to do with that. As you can see, the one with the silly neck on the far right has no problems at all.
