• Senior Chinese military officer calls for attacks on US ships in the South China

Pardon somewhat clickbait title. Dai Xu, a People's Liberation Army Air Force colonel commandant and the president of China's Institute of Marine Safety and Cooperation, suggested at a conference in Beijing on Saturday that the Chinese navy should use force to counter US freedom-of-navigation operations in the South China Sea, Taiwan News reported. South China Sea Tl:dr chineese officer says dumb things.

This was published by a super nationalist tabloid, and it often features the most hawkish types of Chinese officers that make outlandish claims. You could probably find American officers that have said related things. Second, China would get smacked if they actually went ahead and did it.
South China Sea? More like Eastern Vietnamese Sea.
mediabiasfactcheck.com/business-insider It popped up on my mobile Newsfeed and I knew Business Insider had a p. decent track record so I ran with it. I won't doubt that the original sources probably not the greatest based on the shit being said, but I was hoping BI would have done their homework. Still on mobile so yeah.
No worries man. The original source may be bad, but it's still fairly newsworthy that such a hawkish editorial was published. Who knows what the ulterior purpose of the article was, it's super unpleasant , especially with the current White House administration.
Dude, you are good. With Trump in, and if he read this, which, who fucking knows, he might see it as an act of war, hell, he thinks hes gonna be impeached so I would be surprised if he does something stupid and use something like this to distract from that.
