https://www.epicgames.com/infinityblade/en-US/news/infinity-blade-trilogy-says-goodbye I don't think this is the end of Infinity Blade. Something tells me this will end up as a game on the Epic Store sooner or later.
Let us assume that they are NOT pulling it from the store to put it in their own, is there any other reason for them to do this? Also, I like how they have got to slap in the Fortnite trailer at the end of the page.
This has been a thing for a while I'm pretty sure. They released all the Infinity Blade assets on the Unreal store so you can use them in your UE4 projects.
I don't know if this is true, but I read somewhere that app development for mobile operating systems is really bullshit. You never know when a poor quality OS update might end up breaking your entire app. Apparently tons of apps from just a few years ago don't even work anymore, if you still have them on your phones. It's quite possible that Inifinity blade isn't making as much money as it used to, and it's not worth the development costs to keep it up to date - so Epic pulled it rather than letting it sit untouched until it inevitably was broken by future OS updates.
