Hi,
we used to use cake! Anti-Cheat, but since it is no longer supported, we have nothing. Which of the remaining Anti-Cheats is the best atm?
Thanks
I can recommend SimpLAC but I think the best method to fight cheaters/preventing cheaters from ruining your playerbase is to have an active team which can ban cheaters as fast as possible. Also, you can disable/prevent family sharing on your server so cheaters can't use the same copy to join your server after getting banned (most of them atleast).
The best anti-cheat is the least known anti-cheat. That goes for cheats too.
Also depends on how much money you'll put into the project. The higher paywall, the less people know about its inner-workings.
Free anti-cheats are best at detecting free cheats. They will properly detect 30-60% cheats.
Payed anti-cheats are stronger and more up to date. I would say about 90-99% cheats.
Private anti-cheats are the strongest, as its harder to counter the unknown.
Its hard to say as its a constant cat and mouse game.
So which payed AC will u recommend?
bean anticheat best anticheat
I suggest taking the PUBG approach and stuffing as many into your server as possible if you want to be safe, seems to work okay for them.
yeah put about 12 of them and make sure they all drop the performance equally or it won't be useful at all
Actually lots of private anti-cheats suck because there's a huge amount of people trying to make anticheats without knowing anything tbh
I wonder if premium anti-cheats have loopholes for the highest-bidding cheater.
Cheaters are usually p greedy so no
and no, if I'd get a valid ticket or one would be released pub, I'd feex
Most of those 'private' anti-cheats are just pastes of public/paid anti-cheats so probably still *okay*.
yeah pretty much all of the "private" anticheats I've seen have all been renames of public ones like QAC, MAC, and even a few !CAC renames with one or two useless additions. The only unique ones I've seen are velkon anticheat on cloud gaming and another on some random Spanish TTT server.
