I'm happy for him but Guinness Book of World Records is a glorified advertising platform nowadays and doesn't really have any credibility
What an awesome coincidence that it reaches such a milestone with Smash Ultimate of all games.
Are there really a hundred games with a voiced Mario in them? That sounds wild.
When you keep in mind that a lot of the games recycle the same clips it doesn't seem that farfetched.
I like the idea that a Frenchman is voicing an Italian plumber in a Japanese video game in the most well know game franchise in history.
Can you explain on this? why does everything have to fucking suck nowadays
That insta video is the first time I've heard his normal voice, it's nice. Normally I only see him in vids at E3 and other events and then he does the Mario voice. Happy for him that he got some recognition, he seems to love his Mario character roles
They basically get paid to make up record categories just so upcoming video games can "win" them https://www.ign.com/articles/2011/01/20/littlebigplanet-2-sets-five-guinness-world-records-over-a-three-day-period
I wonder how much unused Mario soundbytes Nintendo has incase Charles ever passed away. They reuse old ones so much I suspect they probably ave a lot of extra stuff when he comes in to record new lines
Don't forget he also voiced this beautiful boy as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpgLDjLwego
Does this do any harm though? I don’t see how conveniently specific categories compromise their credibility in measuring them, let alone categories that people actually care about.
I mean, to be fair, aren't all of their record categories totally made up and arbitrary in the first place
I don´t have a problem with it unless they become too specific, like a record for voicing a specific character that nobody else will be able to break.
Who cares love you charlie keep up the good work
Was this the first time this was handed out? If not, who had it before him?
