https://metro.co.uk/2018/12/13/child-homelessness-jumps-73-since-tories-took-power-8242314/ More than 120,000 children will be homeless this Christmas, official Government statistics have revealed. The new data shows the number of children living in temporary accommodation is at its highest point for 12 years. When David Cameron took power in 2010, the number of homeless minors was at 71,460. Now, that figure is at 123,630 – an increase of 73%. The statistics for the end of June this year show a 5% rise over the previous 12 months and a 71% rise on the low of 48,010 at the end of 2010. a pleasant reminder that the Tories still exist and will continue to exist after Brexit. avoid Brexit tunnel vision.
Tory Policy does exactly what we expect from Tory Policy. Fuck the Tories. Fuck David Cameron. and especially Fuck Theresa May. I hope their party crashes and burns while their ringleaders are arrested held accountable for all the suffering they have caused.
I can't believe all these people got their faces eaten by jaguars, how could the UK Jaguars Eating People's Faces party let this happen
Of course, the Tories will find a way to blame anything but their policies. Or they'll claim this is a result of their policy not being enacted vigorously enough. Abdicating responsibility for their own actions is the only thing they're good at.
Conservatives being evil? Well colour me surprised!
everything is always horrible until conservatives come along then things are rosey and perfect, except the problems still persist they just don't care about them when they're in power.
Tories want you to believe that there's no problem and if there is there's literally no way to fix it so don't bother asking. They've throttled the life out of this country, for the love of God do not vote Tory next election.
I get the point you are trying to make, but in this example, none of the people in question actually voted for these people. Or anyone, in fact.
It's not really the point I was trying to make, my real point is that when conservatives are in power anywhere, the rich always get richer and the poor always get poorer, it's an obvious trend and the reason why people should never vote for conservatives ever
The sooner the Conservatives are out of government the better. You can talk shit about Labour and its incompetence but at least they weren't intentionally fucking people over as the last eight years of ruling Tories have. I genuinely wish harm upon them, they're fucking parasites who have hurt countless people by neutering and dismantling the NHS, welfare and turning the DWP into a nightmarish ordeal for people who are already desparate as is.
The worst part is their names being dragged through the mud is usually the worst that can happen. It feels like senior Conservatives of recent years have just been taking turns at fucking up the country then going back to their comfortable millionaire lifestyles, away from the public eye. Special mentions go to people like Nigel Farage and Rebekah Brooks that manage to cause huge uproars then happily get on with it while the rest of us pick up the pieces.
I hope Farage gets fucking lynched. That cunt has done more damage to the country than any of the scary brown people that his ilk are so terrified of.
Don't forget David Cameron, putting the whole Brexit surge into play and just stepping aside.
Not just Tory's fault but it's labour and EUs legacy as well. Asylum seekers are treated better than our own people.
Like clockwork.
Labour were last in power almost 10 years ago. Politicians don't say 'fuck you' to the homeless because they're too busy helping asylum seekers, they say 'fuck you' because they can't be bothered with any of it. Using the whole 'we treat immigrants better than our own citizens!' thing is an easy tactic employed by politicians to help foster resentment and therefore support for more stringent anti-immigration policies.
Just like how all of America's problems are all crooked hitlery's fault. /s
I'm all for blaming both sides of an equation, considering my country's political parties have the consistency of gas station toilet paper, but I can't really see this one.
Labour take little blame for the current situation. Tony Blair may be due some for being a massive twat and essentially Tory lite but even his policies did a number on homelessness and he ran a relatively decent economy, besides PFIs and the war. Anyone saying 'but Labour' has a genuine hole in their head.
Oh no, don't get me wrong I agree with you wholly. I was just searching for a devils advocate that would even make a modicum of sense.
Looks like you bought into the divide and conquer tactics. The Tories get away with shit like this by convincing people with nothing that they should be angry at people with table scraps as opposed to the fat cats hoarding all of the wealth.
Hey. Just wanted to apologise for my earlier post. It was way out of line and I shouldn't have let my passions get the better of me. That's all. You can carry on cursing the Tories now.
Honestly some of them deserve to be threatened or subjected to violence tbh they've certainly contributed if not outright caused deaths among those on welfare and dependent on the NHS which is overburdened and incapable of handling the strain. Blairite Labour didn't exactly do it any favours but the Conservatives have fucked things over incredibly. TBH you don't owe much of an apology, I don't blame you for feeling the kind of angry sentiment that makes the idea of lynching the Tory shitheads a pleasant thought.
