Ecotassa 2019 solo su “auto inquinanti di lusso e SUV". Ecco gli..

I apologise for my shit phone, I'd post a translation if it weren't a giant pain in the ass. Anyway, here's the gist:
Additional taxes slapped on new SUVs, luxury-segment cars, and vehicles crapping out more than 130g/CO2 KM
Incentives up to 6000 monies for purchasing or registering EVs and hybrids
Plans to increase the numbers of EV charging booths where available
And last but not least, cutting down the "golden pensions" of the ultra-rich by 40%.
Once again I apologize for the whole thing being in Italian, I'll post some translations if by some miracle I manage to resurrect my desktop. And please keep in mind that these are very recent news so sorry if they sound vague.
All in all some decent news. If it turns out the incentives apply to converting old shitboxes to EV, I've got some future plans. Especially considering my neighbor mechanic is gettong his license-to-convert...
Now that's smart! I can get behind this idea.
I mean if they decided this a couple of year in advance so people could get rid of their SUV's i guess it was a good thing. But if this came through just out of the blue that is absolutely retarded
It's been on the plate for a while and it only applies to new purchases, as to not shaft those who can't afford a new car all of a sudden.
Still, if it moves future markets more towards cleaner vehicles and less obese gas-guzzlers, it's a good step to take.
And last but not least, cutting down the "golden pensions" of the ultra-rich by 40%.
What are these "Golden pensions"?
What do they mean with luxury vehicles?
Hope not higher priced premium brands
Mostly ex-politicians and other high-ups getting 200k per year in retirement checks, and other similar forms of billionaire dickery.
Well then all is good, the government fucking over people who can't buy a new car is exactly what i was worried about.

This should be it.
Fucking HOW MUCH!?
Hmm, after a bit of analysis, it makes some sense.
These models have huge displacements, and smaller models usually don't as they used to, like for example, you could find the '04 A3 with a 3.2 liter, which is just a hair above the 3.0 liter 2017 A8 engines. Same for A4.
But wasn't this already the norm in Italy?
In Portugal, you pay more taxes the bigger the displacement is and what kind of fuel it uses.
"Fun" fact, its cheaper to run a diesel car with a big engine from 18 years ago, which supposedly wouldn't be good for the environment at all, than it is to run a petrol car with a 1.0 liter engine from 2018.
43€ for a diesel car between 1.501 and 2000 cubic cm, and 101€ for a 2017/2018 petrol car that goes up to 1.250 cubic cm and outputs a number that is either equal or less than 120g/km. The same but in diesel is just 5 euros more expensive, but since diesel is increadibly cheap in comparison to petrol, who the fuck cares lol
SUVs should be taxed everywhere because SUVs in most cases are dumb as fuck and completely unnecessary for shitloads of people who own them.
But, what if one time i have to pick up a table at a friend's house. You know, the only time in the entire lifespan of the car.
Hook it to a towing cable and surf that shit like a mad bastard, duh
I own a suburban with a 5.3l engine, and it can haul 9 people and still have space in the back.
I dont do any of that. How do you feel?
That's why they are called golden
I feel like you're a bit of a cunt but eh
roof rack, tow thing, borrow something else...
Plus, I think he wasn't quite talking about pickups or any of the more utilitarian vehicles. He's talking about things like the Range Rover and SUVs that can't carry anything other than people and that just exist to be more reasonable Hummers but still pretty much useless.
I'll admit, I like SUVs, but I'd never own one myself. But then again, I don't like wagon estates either.
It was sarcasm. Hence I said once in the entire lifetime of the car.
I know but there always may be that possibility
we've had that happen once or twice, but we did have a tow hitch anyway
different story in america because every dummy is driving around in a fuckhueg turd
