an entire game made for the sake of a pun i've heard worse excuses

That being said, this only focuses on Part 1-3. You'd think it wouldn't be hard to at least have Part 1 and 2 hamon users, as you don't need a stand model.
Why does it look like a massive step back visually from Eyes of Heaven and All Star Battle?
It's heavily resembles their mobile game "Diamond Records", but that may just be me. You can tell this game was done in Unity.
Why was this announced by D'Arby the Player and not D'Arby the Gamer? Wouldn't it make more sense for the guy who actually used videogames to challenge people to play one?
D'Arby the Player is probably vastly more popular and more recognisable.
I really hope we get some sort of new JOJO fighting game, or like at least an updated All Star Battle, there’s no reason why Eyes of Heaven was so against multiplayer despite being outright a party fighter like Power Stone
I wish they would just make a new ASB, maybe add some more depth to it and it would be perfect.
When I saw the title getting cut off at Jojo "S.." I thought it was going to be a jojo switch game and started flipping my shit. oh well.
Wonder how an Arcade Battle Royale would work. The player count is a low 20 and even still I'd bet half of the players would be bots. Would it be 300 yen a pop? 100 yen? Will the credit be time based or life based? Im guessing it would use the account cards you can get. Its really one of those things that only works in Japan. And I'd argue modern Japanese Arcades are really not as they are hyped to be. Although i spent way too much time and money trying to learn that fucking Gundam Verses game because I'm too much of a persistent bastard.
Why?
it's parts 3-5. where'd you get parts 1 and 2 from? like, it clearly shows josuke in the image you posted, not to mention it takes place in morioh.
100 Jotaros parachute onto an island, last one alive gets the Road Roller
sounds stupid enough for me to want to at least try it, hope it's not arcade only forever.
It might have been bad wording on my part. I was saying I don't see why this game couldn't have included the first two parts as well, pun name aside.
The trailer literally says it's done with Unreal Engine?
The Japanese are pretty fucking bad at understanding consumer demand, so I doubt they'd bring it to a usable platform
JoJo is never "out of left field". It never leaves that realm of baffling surprises.
Arcade is still pretty huge in japan so its understandable that they'd make it arcade only, if they were going to bring it to another platform it'd be mobile games
One day the only surprise it'll have left is something that's utterly unsurprising
Been featured in more JoJo media. I know I remember All-Star Battle had D'Arby the Gambler as a system voice with D'Arby the Gamer nowhere to be seen, and Eyes of Heaven added a playable Stand Poker game mode you could play against D'Arby the Gambler instead of saving the world from Dio.

Not only that but while Jojo is niche in the west it's huge in Japan, it's pretty much their equivalent of something like Xmen or something. Making a Jojo game for Japanese arcades makes a ton of sense, porting it to consoles with a translation is not necessarily a profitable move.
The best part is that there were two required poker games in the story mode lol IIRC the first was to rescue Jolyne and the second was to learn the secret of Heaven Dio's Stand
The Worldu's easiest poker game. Like seriously I don't think I've seen/watched anyone fail those
