• Brexit: Suicide warning if exit turns chaotic

Brexit It's almost as if Brexit is a bad idea.
Mental health services in the UK are terrible. This won't be goid
The UK literally on suicide watch over Brexit
Do what's their plan, the reason for this happening? I mean there's obviously a reason why they're letting it come to such a shit show like this.
blue passport matee!!!!
It's all about the passport tbh
So only in the event of a chaotic Brexit, got it.
You missed the point didn't you?
Now read the next three words in the sentence after 'chaotic' that you chose to quote.
...in the event of Britain leaving the EU without a deal and on unfriendly terms I don't see the unfriendly terms happening, though no-deal might.
Terms are already rather unfriendly. The EU has no incentive to be friendly towards Britain, if anything, being friendly beyond the absolute bare minimum necessary is against EU interests.
Boilrig can you quite politely fuck off, I'm a bit of a hypocrite saying this as I comment on US politics all the time but I don't think you're qualified to make such dismissing comments about this from a position at the other side of the world that doesn't affect you save for stroking the imperial flag and hoping we might just open up closer trade ties to our former colonies. Suicide is an issue either way in this country along with mental health in general, as someone who personally knows several people suffering from various illnesses ranging from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder all the way to schizophrenia the current government does not sufficiently care (if at all?) and consequently the resources available tl support people are shit. Not to mention people who potentially because of the above and other factors are dependent on welfare and are frequently subjected to interrogation and "assessment" by unqualified, apathetic and/or overwhelmed "assessors" and agents contracted out by the DWP where they are sometimes subjected to arbitrary amendments or "sanctions" (because somehow, punishing someone who is on or under the breadline by reducing what little they get at a time they cannot survive without it serves a purpose!) without any rhyme or reason to it. I won't even get into how the NHS has been gradually neutered and given no incentive to get its shit together, because how can it when it's not getting the funding and management it needs?
I can't even kill myself without a liosense, this sucks.
How come? What's so special about the passport.
its BLUE get owned EU lmao gottem
As empathetic and smooth as always, Boilrig, by the way you forgot your herd of bulls in the China shop. Also, what is with this "got it", it doesn't really affect you, now does it, you are on the other freaking side of the planet, you are quite literally as far removed from the consequences as you could be. Not speaking of all the livelihoods, well-beings, and like this article mentions, lives it could cost paired with all the other downturns. In case you haven't noticed or are wilfully ignorant (I'm guessing the latter), these past few days have been very chaotic, the UK government has effectively lost it's ability to govern regarding Brexit due to self-sabotage trying to act out a political premise that was very flawed to begin with. While the EU has negotiated a deal, it can't really be pressured into a new deal just because all British political parties are throwing a temper tantrum. Are you actually looking for a discussion on this or are you just here for your ego, clearly not to be empathetic, because your drive-by political shitpost that literally adds nothing to the discussion except to inflame other posters would be more reminiscent of Tudd than anything else.
Not really sure why any of you bother replying to Boilrig, he's incredibly boring and never has anything of actual value to say. There isn't even a debate or discussion to be had with him considering his posts are either low effort shitposts or fantastical rambling.
WILL OF THE PEOPLE!
I just don't believe it will get "chaotic", that changes in lifestyle can happen with any policy. As long as people aren't adding suicide as a reason not to do Brexit.
I am sure as hell not going to leave his posts unchallenged, as recent events have shown in more then one regard, indifferent apathy and lack of action causes more harm than good. Don't get me wrong, I am fully aware that his is just a tiny forum in a random corner of internet, I don't have my head up my ass that high. But if he insists on spouting nonsense, I insist of correcting him every time I deem necessary.
your belief or lack thereof doesnt matter when there have already been consequences. Your father isnt going to help pay an 80 billion dollar divorce bill, 800 billion euro in capital have already flown off, the economy began to shrink, and the NHS is now a shell of its former self, not that it was doing so hot to begin with. Why are you so insistent on supporting Brexit after seeing such consequences staring you right in the face, much less support it since you're from NZ and not England? What's in it for you?
Yeah but Brexit is kind of a big deal, you could argue Britain is writing history, and not the good kind. You could be more clear and define chaotic and define unfriendly, because no-deal is as unfriendly as it gets.
Don't tell the Brits about Croatia
Thank you Boilrig, very cool.
Holy shit you are denser than neutronium
He's probably just trolling.
I like to tell myself that but I don't believe it with how consistent he's been over the last years
It's not even March yet and it's already chaotic. They could have left the word out and it would mean the exact same thing.
Stop. You are harming others with your rhetoric.
