It's finally done. All 3D files and arduino code can be downloaded for free at: Rust Auto Turret animated by Usuariu

Hey that's pretty fuckin neato!
We actually have a 3D printer thread here, feel free to post your stuff in it if you want to!

Unlike the actual turret (for some reason) this one actually uses electricity
That is fucking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to buy this
You can download the files and get them printed for cheap. I probably spent $10 in materials (doesn't include 3d printer ofc).
Can you add lights and sound and a motion detector on it? I want to buy it and put it on my desk at work so it shoots anyone that enters!
The camera shield is meant to fit a laser to be more representative of the real thing (I was gonna fit one, but broke the only one I've got, woops). Sound and motion detection could be added if you want to fiddle with Arduino coding plus some cheap components. Though, if what you want is to buy a finished product, I wouldn't know how to help with that.
nice nice
that's pretty dope dude
Good
How long did this take to model, looks great!
About a week for most of the work, then a lot of tweaks and adjustements while the 3d printer I bought was stuck on customs (4 month wait :/ ).
Hope it was worth it
