• Online Raiding Ideas

Hey there, so I decided to make an account to share some of my ideas that I think would be fun in rust. I've been a player since the grand opening of the game in 2013 which is now called 'legacy' and it's come a long way from that so I thought why not share some ideas. • Flash bang - A simple flash bang that can promote it's use online raiding in sticky situations or just for the simple fun of using a flash bang on people in a building. • Riot shield - A rusty looking craftable shield (or maybe not craftable?) for the soul purpose of being able to enter a base and not be shot to shit at least for the first couple of seconds. Could be a handy tool for a lot of things in rust to bypass certain base traps etc. You can certainly come up with some cool rusty looking artwork for a makeshift shield. It can even have a durability rate so it degrades whilst being shot so it's not over powered. I'm assuming these threads get looked over but I'd love to hear your ideas / opinions under the topic of online raiding on here. I'll be adding to this thread if possible when I think of useful tools regarding this topic.
I would love to see both! :-)
Thanks, it feels like a lot of the focus is on traps and so on which are cool in my opinion but I think ideas that actually assist raiders with tools and so on are also pretty interesting to add to the game, seeing as it is still pretty hard to online raid.
not excited for flash band too much but about shield... would be awesome... imagine if you have auto turret or shotgun trap and can enter inside with this shield...
The shield would either be OP or UP, unless you'd still get some melee damage and all explosion damage, block all ballistic damage and have big durability, and you can't attack either, no deploying and only faces the direction where you look. Flash bang is a neat idea, but I think poisonous gas grenade would be even better.
and only hazmat suit or clatter helmet will protect against gas grenade... good idea
