I think Bob would be proud. He tried, and that's what counts.

His painting actually didn't look half bad, especially for a first attempt, the background stuff was okay, the foreground was a bit of a mess but mostly because I think he didn't get what was going on there when he did it. I think if he hadn't rushed so much (pause the dang video if you need more time!) and been a bit more prepared it would have turned out a lot better. Lay down a dropcloth, get a small table or something for supplies and washing, have a better idea of what paints are to be used.
