This is the first time I'm hearing of this treatment, and it's fucking crazy to me that we can now see that a baby is gonna be born with a life-altering defect, and we can go in and fix it before the little fucker is born

That's neat.
Spinda bifida can be pretty crippling with only very few people born with the condition able to walk, and even then normally requiring crutches and orthoses. Getting this kinda treatment before you are even born is fantastic and is never something I would imagine being possible.
Wish it was around when I was unborn, or even when I was born, if the doctors had been paying attention.
