Whats with the excessive amount of cheaters at the minute?

I play Facepunch Eu 2, and theres so many cheaters its untrue, I dont mean just questionable shots, im talking on a 300 killing spree with any weapon headshot everytime from 1.2 m even though there 200m away. Ive never reported so many people before on rust, some do get banned after 30 mins of mayhem. Its worse at the minute as people tab it on to wipe a zerg raiding and steal the explosives then log off for a few hours.

Is there any plans to address this hacker problem?

Yes, the plan is to let EAC do their jobs. Keep reporting cheaters and they'll get banned as soon as humanely possible.

It helps if you press F7. Garry and his team work to make cheating harder, but where there is a will there is a way. This should be a given seeing that AAA games such as BlackOps III still deal with their fair share of cheaters. Of course you're not going to see the hard work facepunch puts in because there's a lucrative business in cheating, with coders working the moment a patch gets released to make a new work around for their cheats. If you want some more direct action consider playing on modded servers such as Justified, they usually have an admin on that can ban on sight with EAC banning later in their ban waves.

Nothing is cheat proof, no one here can help you, report in game and let EAC do its job. If that's not fast enough for you, find a server with active mods.
