I have a save file that I spent around a month on now, last time I played on it was a week ago, yesterday when I tried loading it up I ended up with a message "Disconnected: connection rejected by game." and put back on main menu. My console was spammed with "Expected uv found m_nSimulationTick ( raw '' )! (prev: (null))

I tried reinstalling my game, disabling all addons and even trying to edit the save file but its all just a mesh of letters, numbers and symbols. Did my save file got somehow banned? It wasn't even public. Please help, I dont want month worth of work go down the drain.
Looking at the errors you just wrote it seems the save file either got corrupted or not saved properly, or it got invalidated by an update but I don't think that's what happened.
Have you tried editing your file before or opening it with something like notepad or else and saved it? If so that might be your problem.
Also make sure you are not using the Source Engine saves on the 64 bit builds.
I tried opening it with notepad AFTER I got that message, but I didnt edit or save anything.
