"A few days ago the doors looked different. Like they couldn't close the
doors properly. And you do feel it [movement] sometimes when there's
strong wind."
Some doors also got jammed, so some people were trapped D:
Well, at least they've evacuated before anyone got hurt. Sucks to not be home at Christmas, but it sucks a lot less than being in a building collapse.
It's already fully constructed. What could they do to 'fix' what seem to be structural integrity issues?
Well the entire building was not evacuated meaning that even if the 1/3 has issues it is not the entire building's integrity that is the issue here. Buildings are very modular as well with some buildings opening up while construction is still undergoing in different parts, so they will probably have to do heavy renovations on it but nothing groundbreaking or unheard of before.
Just fucking demolish and start over. Tolerance for these things should be negative.
Settling's a bitch aint it? My house is like 13 years old now and every once in a while I'll wake up at like 3 am because the house decided it was a good time to start settling again and it sounds like someone's banging on the wall with a sledge hammer rapidly.
It's not as simple as "Here's one I prepared earlier..."
From conception to opening, buildings like this can take a decade to complete.
Why when its completely unnecessary? High tolerance doesn't really have much to do with it, its like throwing out your bowl of rice because you overcooked your chicken
They also need to find out why. Buildings have been built and it turns out the ground they built on wasn't suitable for that type of construction. Simply rebuilding it doesn't really solve the problem if they don't know what it is.
you will never get me to live in a tower like this
