I just picked up the Devil May Cry HD collection and started 1. I don't really know what I'm doing besides "hit things a lot with slight variations of how you hit them" since I don't have the stinger yet but it's working.

I still think the third DMC is the best one, both cheese story and gameplay-wise.

Oh, yeah. Ive been meaning to buy Assault Spy. How is it?

i've been playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 after recently beating Sigma 1 twice and i really can't tell which i like more on one hand i prefer the heavier, more grounded combat of 1 but all the quality of life improvements in 2 are a godsend and (so far) the level design seems to be fine, so here's hoping it doesnt shit the bed like 1's second half does

Played some Assault Spy. I am not sure how far I'm in but it does feel like a bit short in length right now. Though they've really nailed the gameplay down, the controls are responsive and all these different combos are really fun. It definitely feels like playing some AAA action game rather than an indie. Theres a few bugs and glitches here and there but nothing really gamebreaking so far. The assets and the cutscenes really give it a low budget look but it does the job so I'm find with it. The plot is really silly and some parts really gets me, like the one scene where they talk about Asaru's briefcase. It's a really decent game but if my feeling for it's length is true that I wouldn't say it's worth the price tag, should probably get it in a sale though.

Okay apparently I was just 1 stage away from the final stage and the other character's story is just a remixed version of the same story with 1 extra stage. Though the other character's special ability and the extra stage's gimmick is pretty fun. Wish the gimmick was used for longer though.

I heard Bayonetta 2 have some nordic mythology references. Does it actually take place in the setting of norse myth or is it a "Bayonetta-fied" version?

It uses names from norse mythology, but that's about it.

Played the DMC5 demo today. It's really good. That arm that lets you dash and airdash is the best thing ever.

After bayo 3 can we get vanquish 2?

As someone who's started most DMCs but never finished any and am interested in V which ones are the best to play before it comes out? I know I've heard some are bad but I wanna play a couple ahead of time

DMC 1, 3, & 4 are must plays imo.

if you grab the HD collection it's worth playing DMC2 for an hour or so just to see how much of a fuckin mess that game is
