http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46713498 The Brexit Saga took a break for Christmas but will return soon for the big finale!
To be fair, Brexit so far plays out like a really, really bad daytime soap opera so a big cliffhanger for the finale would be fitting.
Reject the deal, reject brexit. C'mon Britian, you can do it.
Just wake me up when it's decided please, reading this shit is tiring, gone on for far too long.
Only a 50-50 chance that Britain takes that chainsaw and lops off its legs, seems pretty high still.
tbf America is currently stabbing itself repeatedly in the chest while murmuring to itself something about a wall
But on the other hand the US is being run by a racist rodeo clown with mental deficiencies, while the UK has experienced politicians calmly voting to have their internal organs removed via high-powered suction through the anus. Nobody should be surprised that America's currently heading towards ruin but the UK is voluntarily marching towards the woodchipper even as it thinks to itself "gee maybe this could hurt a lot".
I'd say we've put the knife down since november but we haven't decided to go to the hospital or not.
A slight political defeat and a tail between the legs is still the better outcome then self-inflicted economic suicide paired with massive loss of political soft power and international ridicule.
So I'm curious, if this doesn't go through do things just continue as usual in the UK? Perhaps an alternative is suggested to be voted on? I'm not too familiar with the politics outside of my home country so I'm unsure of any possible differences in how its handled.
Ohh, Matron!
If this doesn't go through, we disastrously crash out of the EU on March 29th with no deal. That will happen by default unless Parliament passes a new law to prevent it i.e. by cancelling or delaying Brexit

It was almost 50-50 before and after Brexit referendum. So not a fun prediction.
