I started a website within the last several months to help educate and demonstrate how to use 3ds Max for Source Engine level design called Hammered to the Max. That site includes docs and videos on this topic. I've been trying to cover all the topics that are important for this as well as address common questions. Much of the advice and tips comes from my experience working with Hammer users as they try to learn Max as well as my experience building/supporting a mixed Hammer/Max pipeline for Black Mesa.
