First off I am new to the Rust forum, I actually only created the account to seek help. I have been playing rust for years, however I've never had a problem running it --Even on a somewhat rubbish laptop-- I have a pretty decent computer to run games exactly like it, which I update when needed (hardware wise) Ever since after the Halloween update I've been getting lag spikes, game not running as smoothly as it use to. This is very upsetting because of how much I enjoy playing this game, the lag makes pvp un-playable and as we all know thats a key part of the game. If anyone has any suggestions my specs are below, I've played with the graphic settings in game and nothing helped, as I launched the game to when I got into a server rust started using 10GB+ of Ram!?! I just don't know what else to do.

Intel Core i7-6700k 4GHz
16GB of DDR4 Ram
GTX1080
