Has anyone here dealt with the process UPS / FedEx has for a package lost in their system?
I have a FedEx package that hasn't moved for a week, and a manager told me over the phone to initiate a lost package claim.
Why do I feel like this is a total waste of my time? Will I be compensated at all?
I do not believe my package was insured, but it's a damaged item I returned to the manufacturer who provided me a shipping label.
It will probably take about as long to initiate the claim as it did to make this thread. Just do it lol
I'm guessing the blame lies somewhere between the supplier and the carrier. Most likely they are insured for cases like this, so just file that paperwork.
Every insurrance claim requires an initial input.
I once had a UPS package that got lost for a month. Eventually they found it in one of their warehouses and shipped it over after a could weeks of talking with them and trying to get them to look for it.
UPS and FedEx have completely different processes for this stuff and operate independently of each-other.
The slash was intended for brevity, not to signify that they're the same company.
