Hello everybody, I'm looking for the night visor of this model. https://hum3d.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/10/LAR_Grizzly_Big_Boar_600_lq_0001.jpg https://hum3d.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/10/LAR_Grizzly_Big_Boar_600_lq_0002.jpg https://hum3d.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/10/LAR_Grizzly_Big_Boar_600_lq_0003.jpg https://hum3d.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/10/LAR_Grizzly_Big_Boar_600_lq_0004.jpg https://hum3d.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/10/LAR_Grizzly_Big_Boar_600_lq_0006.jpg https://hum3d.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/10/LAR_Grizzly_Big_Boar_600_lq_0008.jpg https://hum3d.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/10/LAR_Grizzly_Big_Boar_600_lq_0007.jpg I already have a Grizzly Big Boar LAR model, spending $ 75 just for a scope it would be foolish, so I'd like to know if someone know the real name of this model (in this case I could try to model it from me) or alternatively, if someone knows a similar good quality model to extract or already extracted from a game, in the Steam workshop and so on. Thanks.
I believe this is an AN/PVS-22
Hello @Morbo!!! , and thanks for your precious answer! It just looks like what I'm looking for. Now, I know very well what the community of Arma thinks about ripping etc, but they often forget that they themselves rips models from other sources. However, perhaps in this case the situation is different, since the author said this in this page, "feel free to use any or all of this mod and change it as you see fit. If you wind up using this in a project" so tecnically, I can take the model and do anything I want, right? But I already said a lot of time, I'm not interested in mods, I'm just interested in models, so the use I would make of it would be exclusively private. But here lies my problem: how do I open this model? I searched for a few hours for some tools to view files, some scripts for 3ds Max or Noesis, but I did not find anything. The format inside the archive is in .pbo. Is it the right format for the models? Can you tell me how to get this model?
A .pbo is a, for lack of a better word, "packaged" file. Use PboManager to extract it (You can use it to open and look through each one, don't know where RHS' models will be stored). I think the model files are .p3ds but I'm not certain, it's not my area of expertise. The files may also be binarised - I don't think this is typically the case with RHS stuff though.
