• I'm looking for a 4K HDMI hub

Sadly enough. My TV only came with 1 HDMI port that supports 4k. I have multiple devices that support 4k output and I am planning to soon hook up my computer to my TV as an extra monitor. The problem is all the hubs I am finding come from no name companies and I am not so sure about their quality. Does anyone have any recommendations for hubs that are worth the purchase?
https://www.iogear.com/product/GHSW8481/ This one is damn expensive, $360, but I have the non-4k version and it's great. It's pretty heavy duty because it's meant more for commercial use so it's 1U thick and comes with rack mounting hardware. Also, imo you'll want a switch that does auto-switching which these ones do. They also have a 4 port version if you don't need 8. I needed the 8 port version since I have all my consoles and other shit hooked up at the same time and these were one of the few brands that sold a quality 8x1 HDMI switcher with auto-switching capabilities. https://www.iogear.com/product/GHSW8441/
Oh boy. To tell the truth I wasn't sure what the cost of a good one would be. But I wasn't expecting a good one to be that much. I guess I will just have to switch HDMI cords for the time being till I can get this.
Just nab one on amazon with good reviews that has HDCP 2.2 support, I believe you can return it for any bullshit reason with 30 days for a full refund. Those are good but they have a lot of features you won't need at the same time.
Well I mean, you could just get a cheap one on Amazon if those are too rich for your blood. Only recommended them since I own one and can vouch for it. I had very strict criteria when picking my switch and it was literally one of the only ones I could find that checked off everything I wanted that wasn't EVEN MORE expensive. The main thing I hate about the cheapo ones on Amazon is that they have retarded port layouts imo. It's because they make them too damn small!
We use the VORKE HD41 Pro at work. Works well for our console testing. HDR and extra stuff isn't something we test though.
