Did they say anything about which platforms/digital stores it'll be on?
too bad it's not a complete remake but a remaster
i don't think absolution is even old enough to need an enhanced version though
frick yes blood money needs a minor facelift
Would had been nice if they included Contracts and Silent Assassin as well but Blood Money alone getting the remastered treatment is definitely great.
The latest games are fantastic, but Blood Money is peak Hitman for me.
I know it would've been really expensive to completely remake Blood Money in Hitman(TM)'s engine but I still kinda wish they'd done that.
Eww, Absolution
iirc IO is now a Microsoft Studio so expect it on Xbox/Windows Store
prolly safe to say that whatever/wherever hitman 2 TradeMark got released on is what the remasters will be released on too
I'll admit I keep putting off Blood Money because of its age. This'll be a great opportunity to indulge in what is ostensibly a great game
I hope there is no online-only bullshit like there is on Hitman 2.
Sorry but Hitman 2016 and 2 are on a completely elevated plane of existence compared to blood money. Sure it was good at the time, but it doesn't hold a candle to the latest games.
I respect your opinion.
P much. I've played so much fucking Hitman Blood Money I can't even find it fun anymore. I 100% BM for breakfast and its one of my absolute favorite games ever but honestly the latest 2 Hitman games are just objectively better design wise. I find it hard to say Blood Money is my favorite because even though it is, I don't like how it discredits just how good the Hitman: Trademarked games are
wait wasnt there already a blood money HD edition?
Tbh it seems unnecessary unless they do a major overhaul
You're thinking of the console re-release for PS3/360 that had Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money repackaged as the HD trilogy.
I don't want that if it means they get rid of Blood Money's spring-loaded ragdolls
Just add everything as additional maps for Hitman 2 and I'll be happy.
i think there's too much difference between the systems for that to work without major changes, it would be fun to compare the two versions though
Fully upgraded dual-wield silverballers and then unload every bullet you have. Guaranteed way to launch a ragdoll at mach five across the room or up in the air. Never gets old
I love how it can even be used as a messy way of hiding a body since you could launch or move a ragdoll through a large body of water or an instant drop from a balcony.
Blood Money is my favorite game ever next to Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
Definitely happy about this so long as they don't fuck it up and if I can use my existing save game which I keep around then I'll be even happier.
i hope they don't touch the AI or fix the glitch where you can instantly snap people's necks if you piano wire them at an odd angle
Metro: Last Light was the same. 2033 had a noticible difference, but Last Light didn't look much different apart from cleaner textures and maybe some new lighting effects.
there's still some top quality wackiness possible

The only thing Blood Money now has over Hitman 2 is that the suitcases have animations.
Story aside, some of the later levels are pretty good. The mandatory instinct/disguise system is stupid though.
Absolution was always fun slasher simulator game. It's not really a proper Hitman game.
It has more missions, it's not always online, it has more weapon variety, it's a complete story, etc.
