Ed Rollins, chairman of the pro-Trump Great America PAC, went after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) during an appearance Friday on the Fox Business Network.
Rollins, appearing on “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” referred to Ocasio-Cortez, 29, as "the little girl." The New York Democrat in November became the youngest woman ever elected to Congress.
During his appearance, Rollins denounced Ocasio-Cortez's proposal to hike taxes for the rich and for her ambitious plan to combat climate change.
He also criticized freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s (D-Mich.) “mouth” after she vowed to go after President Trump and “impeach the motherf---er.” Rollins argued Democratic women
would be damaged badly if they put Tlaib "out front with her mouth," and slammed Ocasio-Cortez as “the little girl who wants to do Reagan, pre-Reagan economics and 70 percent
taxes.”
Ocasio-Cortez responded to Rollins on Saturday, calling him a “walking argument to tax misogyny at 100%.” “GOP loves to insult my intelligence, yet offers *this* as their best + most
seasoned opposition to my policy proposals,” the New York Democrat wrote on Twitter. “If anything, this dude is a walking argument to tax misogyny at 100%.”
“Republicans rob everyone the opportunity of real policy debate by resorting to this,” she added.
Man, I think some people are afraid of a "little girl" if I didn't know any better.
Ocasio-Cortez is throwing down some shade last couple days and it's all been great

Just left hook right hook uppercut next opponent please
Holy shit. Stop it they’re already dead!
I like her already.
Funny how it was A-OK! to put everyone not well off into a hole to fund tax cuts for the rich and spin it as a good thing.
Now the shoe is on the other foot, where they are trying to make heavily taxing the already well off into a catastrophe.
Imagine this woman actually becoming president.
Not corporate shill enough. Dems are gonna flush her out the race just like they did with Bernie
By the time she's old enough we'll either have a better President and a more progressive Democratic party or we'll all be dead or suffering.
70% taxes for the 1%
Pre-Reagan economics? You say that like it's a bad thing. Not like that meathead's system has ever paid off in the past three decades.
Nothing frightens conservatives more than socialists with balls and conviction, people who will put them to the sword as soon as they are in power and won't be brought by corporate interest.
Just in: AOC's approval among boomers has jumped up 90 percentage points, experts baffled.

Man, they're that terrified of her aren't they. Well, all power to her.
Imagine claiming you aren't scared of ISIS but you're scared of a woman who doesn't ask permission from old white men before having ideas.
The more they hate her the more I love her tbh
these old guys are pathetic scared petulant children
There is some good stuff coming out of this.
The GOP has a pretty incredible hate machine. They can fabricate controversy, manufacture outrage, like no one else. I'm convinced that's what won them 2016 - they had basically a decade to whip their supporters into a frenzy, not loving Trump but hating Hillary. It even affected the unaligned and the Democrats - how many people just "didn't like" Hillary, for no reason they could express? I know plenty who refused to vote for her, not because they disagreed with her policies, thought her unable to run the country, or even any personal failings, but just "she feels like she's entitled to it" or "I just can't trust her".
That hate machine is now aimed at someone who's very much not in the running in 2020. Let's face it, AOC is not winning the primaries. She is genuinely not experienced enough. The past two years have shown what happens when you hand the reins of the largest democracy on Earth to someone with zero experience at governing. It's a skill set that takes practice to get good at. I'm not saying she can't ever be President, just... fuck, give her more than one term in the House. Let her do some work in Congress, maybe move to the Senate, before we start floating a Presidential run.
But the GOP is going to turn their propaganda against her, pretty much because she's so completely antithetical to their beliefs. She's got them fucking triggered. The attacks have been pretty futile so far, but they're not going to stop. Even if they never really find something to latch onto, being a leftist brown woman is literally enough for their base. They'll just hammer on that for the next two years, get their hard supporters to the point where they have a Pavlovian response to her.
And that's a good thing for us. Every minute Fox News spends frothing about her college dance videos is a minute the hate machine isn't aimed at Warren or O'Rourke or whoever else is running. Sure, the hate machine will pivot, especially after the primaries, but then they'll be making up for lost time. They can't generate antipathy instantly - when Obama won the primaries in an upset, they didn't have enough time for the hate factory to get results until nearly his second term. AOC is running interference for whoever we do end up nominating.
I just hope we can find someone to nominate that can carry it home.
This is how Trump has been able to lock in that 39% of support in his approval polls. But Ocasio is actually worthy of it.
What I find interesting is how each has been able to respond to this hate machine. Hillary Clinton just kind of ignored it and let it develop. AOC is charging head on into it and winning. What's even better is they have no idea how to respond to it. She's got such a great future and I can't wait to see where it goes
I'm not sure what the actual bottom income for the 1% would be but if someone were making a$1,000,000/year they would still be bringing home $300,000 after taxes at this tax rate. Seems far more than fair to bring home more than 5x after taxes than most people earn before taxes.
"Her policy is insane."
Gosh, socially democratic policies. So scary. That certainly doesn't function anywhere else like most places in the developed world.
70% taxes! (on dollars earned above an already large fortune) Can you imagine?
The far right has more in common with ISIS than they do with respectable people. They're both massively misogynistic and homophobic, and (in the case of fundamentalist evangelicals) want to enact a religious theocracy.
and then the same person crawls back in, throws a few more words to make her pissed, and she destroys again
aaaand repeat...
not to mention the US had tax rates that were that high or higher for a large part of the last century lol
her bant about taxing misogyny at 100% except unironically thanks
AOC's response will have a more long-term impact, but I agree it could be a very interesting one.
It will obviously affect her later political career. If the hate factory finds something exploitable to latch onto, they might gain enough traction within her own district to oust her the next time there's a red wave, or maybe even earlier. I expect they'll be heavily funding her opponent just because they can't help it - to borrow pro wrestling parlance, they have worked themselves into a shoot, and so even if their odds are awful they're going to throw money at trying to make her go away, and maybe that money will work, especially if coupled with blunders on AOC's part.
But on the flip side, if the clapback to the hate machine is potent enough, that's a blow to the whole system's effectiveness. If some Fox-watching Gen-Xers realize how dumb the anti-AOC agitprop is, that crack could grow into distrusting the whole party apparatus.
And, of course, it's fuel for the liberal agitprop. With Trump around we don't exactly lack for stupid things conservatives say to get mad about, but hopefully he'll cease to be an issue in the coming years, and if the anti-AOC hatemob continues past that, it'll provide a steady stream of "see, this is who we're fighting" to keep liberals energized.
This is hardly the only thing she'll have to do to grow as a politician. It's not even the most important. Getting at least some of her policies implemented, and how successful they are, will matter far more than snappy Twitter comebacks. If she can't get anything done in the first term or two, she might be able to push the party leftward but she likely won't be the one leading the motion. If she gets something passed and it fails horribly, she's probably not getting re-elected at all (even if it's not her fault). But, if she gets something tangible into law, and it clearly works, now she's gone from "crazy radical" to "innovative leader", and that can take you places.
I don't think they're that retarded since that money is going to be literally wasted. She's not leaving that district until she's primaried as her district is one of the most Democratic in the entire United States.
Imagine being scared of a girl lmao
Since when do conservatives care about policy? They elected a shrieking orangutan from reality TV solely because he appeals to their xenophobia and they can live vicariously through him to compensate for their own insecurities. Actual conservative policy since 2010 has amounted to little more than "obstruct Obama" and now that they're actually in control they're completely clueless about running things and have proceeded to wreck everything. And yet this spud has the gall to imply that they're the voice of reason here.
