I've been scouring the web for a few days now, and usually I don't have a problem finding information but I'm stuck on this one. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
A lot of controversy out their dealing with the bandit camp, bandit_shopkeepers in general. A lot of people claim that shop inventory stock is infinite, but I guess my shop keepers didn't get the memo. They run out of stock really fast. (I sold about 500 hqm for scrap and now can't sell any more for scrap.) Now, this isn't normally a problem, but I'm playing on a server with my family and they're rather frustrated at the low numbers. It sometimes takes up to 2 rl days to restock these shops and so far it's been "Wait, I'm sure it'll eventually restock." Now, I'm hoping that as an admin of the server (and the server owner) that I can get access to the root files to figure out how to change the restock rate, as well as maybe change their sell numbers. I know there are mods out there that try (and I do mean -try-) to do this, but none of them are successful. Is this a bug? A common feature? Is there any way to adjust them? What about a bandit_shopkeeper.Refresh or some such command that I've overlooked ?
Thanks again, and keep in mind my main focus is:
Restocking the bandit_shopkeeper,
OR
changing the files so that they restock at a certain point each in game day. Like every morning they'll refresh.
It's been only 4 days but I'm gonna bump this again. Any @moderators or some such that can help with this?
Well I've been to this modded server where NPC shops were infinite, but I'm not sure if that's the normal case. And truth be told there's no easily accessible info about this, I'm curious too now.
