Ding, dong. The clown is dead.
Fucking hell, 8 years since the last one.
Someone on 4chan pointed out that Madness Combat 10 came out 7 years, 7 months and 7 days ago.
Holy fuck, this is a throwback. I'm so glad he's still making these.
My childhood is revitalized.
Nice can't wait for Madness 12 to come out in 10 years. that was really cool though
Fuck I havent heard of these since I was a kid. I feel really old now. They got me into flash animation and programming, trying to mod the madness combat games in a pirated version of macromedia flash pro or something like that.
Madness interactive
I remember there was this website full of mods for the game but I cant remember what it was called, if anyone remembers let me know
God fucking daaaaaamn, been talking to Krinkels every now and then on Steam about Project Nexus 2, occasionally wondering about MC11, I didn't even think he was going to be releasing it any time soon, I thought PN2 was taking up enough of his time, but evidently not.
So fucking happy it's out, worth the wait easily.
rayne.hellawack.net was the site. Unfortunately it's gone now, and all of the mods there vanished and are nowhere to be found.
And just watched it a 2nd time too, it gets me so pumped it's ridiculous, it''s honestly like being a kid again, getting excited like this about something, feeling somewhat emotional about it too, I mean the last one came out 7 years ago, nearly 8, I was only 18 years old then so not that young, but the feelings I get from watching his work, it's awesome.
I used to watch all of them yearly and now I have absolutely no idea what's going on anymore
That came out of absolutely left field holy crap.
That was fantastic.
the scenes where they literally bleed weapons seems strangely appropriate.
what a fucking glorious masterpiece, I thought he said he'd get to finishing it after P:Nexus 2 was done
And to think all of this started because one guy wanted a boombox all to themselves.
Or, time was altered whilst they were in Purgatory, slowing it down massively in the real world while running at normal speed in Purgatory, for all we know, less than 10 seconds transpired in the real world.
What the fuck
I was a member there.
One of my current best friends was too.
Having a forum suddenly die was not fun, cut a lot of contacts.
Quite a few members ended up here on FP.
A lot of the website and its content still exists on waybackmachine.
I had to watch some of the previous ones again. Yep its madness. Hope the next one takes less years though.
Also, y'all should support and check out Cheshyre's music

7 for life yo
The story is mostly nonsense written on the spot (which I think it's great how everything's becoming increasingly off-the-wall). You can get some more details from the wiki but most of it is just speculation and there's no real logic to be found in what's happening. Just sit back and enjoy the show.
Basically the only pivotal information in the story is the fact there are higher beings (the guy with the red eyes, the auditor, being one of them) that like to toy with the main characters for unexplained reasons.
Some of the character backgrounds are explained through the Project Nexus games and even then it's debatable how much of that actually relates to the actual animations as it's meant to be a parallel universe
This is quite the throwback. If there was a commercial successor to Madness Interactive that moved away from Flash, I'd buy that in a heartbeat
Well, conveniently for you, the creator is working on Project: Nexus 2 which the closest you'll get to that.
Well, there is.
It's not out yet though.
Krinkles himself is working with a bunch of cool dudes on Project Nexus 2, so you can pre-order it on their website and get in on the early betas, or they should be moving to early access soon as well if you would prefer to wait for that.
Aww fuck that was so good, the music was ace too. As far as story goes the way i saw it was like Mickyan said, there's higher beings toying with Hank and crew and now they're helping Hank end Clown for forcing his way up the ladder via killing Jesus, which is why the posters in Hell said remove him and Clown does not belong. Also "Violence required. Violence AQUIRED" is fuckin' choice
I made a YouTube playlist with each episode in chronological order (AFAIK) if you want to catch up on the series:

the title definitely does the whole thing justice, because i sure as shit can't figure out just what is going on, and i've never been able to figure it out since the first time i watched the first one all these years ago
somehow a fight over a boombox ended up in the guy with the boombox being murdered several times over, jesus being murdered several times over, and a clown somehow ended up being evil incarnate
can someone enlighten me just what exactly is going on :V
