Hello.
I already know how to program in c++ and did do some smaller custom projects using c++ and opengl already. However, making something larger in OpenGL would require writing an engine with all the bells and whistles youd need, which, since I am alone and I am ME, would take a long time and end up being anything between unusable to underwhelming.
So I decided to pick up Unreal. Doing basic stuff in Blueprints is pretty straight forward, however I havent found any good material on c++ that doesnt either assume you know nothing about it and spend ~30-100 minutes in a powerpoint slide or messing around in the editor before getting to anything I dont know already. Im not asking for a super short tutorial but I am asking for some good ones, which focus on more unreal-specific things instead of trying to slam the knowledge required to use c++ down my skull in less time it takes to make a decently-sized pizza in your stove.
Im sure you guys know good resources. If this is posted in the wrong section ill gladly remove it, just please dont nuke me off the site
I'm sure there's got to be tutorials on how to make smaller games from scratch, you can usually find them on YouTube. Unity Engine has lots of videos like that made by people in the community at least.
