I never knew that his girlfriend also has a youtube channel.
My guess for what's going on with the youtube team is they're doing the caught the "i get to decide your intentions" thing that's been popular lately. The thing where you see someone making satire, joking about something or even plainly disagreeing with something, and decide that they actually agree with the thing they are disagreeing with, satirizing or joking about. Usually it's done in a "i see you clearly disagreeing with some politically unpopular position but im going to accuse you of agreeing with it anyways" situation, sometimes the word "dogwhistling" is used because it's similar enough to serve the purpose. Youtube probably thinks mumkey is a secret elliot supporter "dogwhistling" support for school shootings.
you know, have you also considered that some people( for example, E;R, the guy who was straight up caught doing this "redpill with jokes" shit and admitted to it on his gab.com[you know, the white nationalist facebook replacement] account) actually do try this bullshit? Or you know, people like Mister Metokur? I really don't understand how you go through life and not see people trying this shit, like, fucking christ.
You are responding to someone talking about people who just assume other people are doing that without any evidence. People who use examples like that to somehow justify accusing random unrelated people of similar.
like, mumkey's clearly an edgy comedy channel, I've seen his work, it's good, and he hasn't gone off about redpilling people on Gab.com or any other alt-right safe space, so he'd good for now shit I forgot to actually hit post reply on this my bad
sure, then it sounds like we agree that people assuming other people are doing that with no evidence and then attacking them on that basis can also be a problem. I feel like it's dangerous when no evidence accusations like that happen, because then they can't be disproved, and then if something like that got mumkey's channel banned there's nothing that could convince them otherwise because there was no evidence to begin with. I think it's more likely than the FBI theory in the video but it is just a guess.
Channel got terminated. Reuploaded here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_7pr4TfgV0
any context for someone who's out of the loop?
Mumkey Jones started out making Satire Anime Reviews, after a year of doing it the series came to an end and he started doing random videos. One series which got really big was an Elliot Rodger based series, where he read his Manifesto, deconstructed Emails and Ideas, poked fun at Elliot and so on. It was all fine and even youtube said it was as each video was Manually reviewed by a person for monetization. Fast forward to November 2018, in the same day both of his channels got 3 strikes and deleted, ending his career on youtube. All the videos were Elliot Rodgers related. He made a Video on it (posted above) and it was uploaded to his Girlfriends channel (a loophole Keemstar did and wasn't terminated for). Today that channel gets deleted despite having nothing that breaks the TOS. The rumours are that someone specific at Youtube is targeting him and his friends, as anything that Mumkey is in, is being demonitized even if they fit the TOS.
God, Youtube just gets worse and worse every day.
This has been an awful month for my sub box. I lost both Mumkey and Siivagunner because the people at Youtube are a bunch of fucking twats who don't know what the fuck they're doing.
All of this because Youtube got fucking strong armed by advertisers even though youtube could have easily called their bluff a mile off...
