Honestly this is the best thing that could happen to him. Patreon and direct fan contact await.
He's got a pretty big and loyal enough following to manage on his own- the guy usually gets hundreds to thousands of dollars in donations and bits. He's smart enough, though, to not rely on his donors forever, so I hope he looks towards other options like Patreon. Hate to see the guy go after he's driven so many newbies to fighting games.
Sounds like it's for the best tbh. He will be much better off without them. I don't the inner workings of these MCN but it seems like they're just a way to screw you over for your hard work and content.
