[UK] Self described "Pickup artist" arrested for predatory online videos

Police have arrested a man in connection with videos posted online teaching men how to pick up women.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested following an inquiry into footage of men chatting up females in the street.
Police Scotland confirmed on Thursday that it was looking into videos on YouTube, featuring what the force described as "predatory behaviour".
The previous day, the force said it was aware of the videos offering advice and guidance on how to pick up the opposite sex, particularly young women.
Adnan Ahmed, from Glasgow, charged with sexual assault and four counts of breach of the peace in relation to videos that were posted on social media, appeared in private at the city's sheriff court and made no plea.

The youtube video shows what the guy was up too. Folk have said he deliberately would go for more vulnerable woman and generally regarded woman as trash.

lol I honestly thought PUA was dead by about ~2014. It was hit by a lot of exposes that showed the fraud involved (paid actresses, scripted interactions, fake testimonials etc) as well as the more gnarly stuff like the guys who got sentences for gang raping a drunk girl.

It went from being everywhere on male-targeted spheres of the internet to almost no discussion ever other than parody for a few years (and I still maintain that MDE's sketch is the best parody of that ridiculous early 00s PUA subculture) and the few odd hanger-ons still desperately trying to make it work as a business but late last year I started to see it rear its head again for whatever reason, trying to prey on a new generation of suckers. I really hope it doesn't make a comeback, pua fanatics are fucking obnoxious on every forum.

I'm not surprised considering the uptick in men who despise women simply because they don't know how to talk to them and have never been able to get into a relationship with one, people like Incels and whatnot. There's bound to be people out there who see this and see the dollar signs forming right in front of them by exploiting those kinds of people or, worse, were that kind of person and successfully manipulated a woman like a piece of shit, now trying to spread their "knowledge" to others...
