Before watching the video I was thinking "Oh, I've seen these kinds of things before, it's a computer that digests a bunch of scripts and outputs word vomit"

That bit about the New York Times was fucking absurdly funny. Maybe its because the machine is picking up on some kind of syntactical formula for making absurdist comedy.

What’s pretty funny is I can recognize many parts from sketches used by the algorithm:

• Siobhan’s celiac disease is said most in Stop Pitching Sketches About Other Cast Members

• “Okay, so all crime is legal” is from Um, We Have A Few Questions About The Purge

• Cantaloupe comes up in You’re Not Purging, You’re Just Being a Dick

• Fake arms is from Leaving Out the Best Part
