My hopes dropped when they switched from the sprite style to full blown 3D models, and I had assumed the game had been abandoned due to basically no news on it. It looks even better than before.
I wonder if it's actually in 3D so maybe afterwards you can view the carnage happening from a camera in the room from a normal person's perspective.

Yeah. It wasn't a switch to 3D, just the first video was their prototype. The flashiness they have just wouldn't be the same with sprites.
