I'm actually pretty excited for it, Crackdown was fun to co op with a buddy, and the rpg lite elements were interesting enough.

Crackdown 1 was free on xbox at least a few months ago. Dont know if it still is, however I completely recommend it if it is.
The first Crackdown was a lot of fun. Thankfully my expectations for those games was never very high so I'm waiting for the new one without really expecting an amazing game.
I feel like this'll just be filling whatever gap Saints row left when Volition went under honestly.

TLDR is if you liked the core gameplay of the first crackdown but in a new city, Crackdown 3 is for you.
Liked Crackdown 1, didn't like Crackdown 2, skeptical on Crackdown 3.

Multiplayer looks pretty bad, not gonna lie.
PC Gamer said MP was a total waste of time and effort and was really just nausea inducing.
However the Singleplayer is apparently pretty good.
I'd like to get it, but I'm gonna wait for reviews and see how it shapes up with some people who have similar interests out of this title to me.
It's included with Xbox GamePass at launch, which is only $10 a month ($1 for the first month) if you wanted to try it out for way cheaper. That's what I'm gonna do.
The entire reason you'd want to destroy the environment is because it resembles real buildings so it feels more visceral, this just looks like the most uninspiring environment to duke it out in.
I see the game getting a shit ton of hate on YouTube. Wonder how this will pan out.

Pretty much this, it's ok, much of the same from 1 though I enjoy the boosters you get with the agility
Also glad that I can play Crackdown on pc, wish the first was pc too
How does it control on PC? Does it still have the hard lock-on? Can it be disabled? Is it possible to aim decently well without using it?
The aim lock is still there, can't be disabled and it's hard to aim properly when you don't lock on so it's kinda awkward but it's pretty easy to get used to, though running/jumping around and punching people is pretty nice with m+kb
Disappointing, there's barely anything to do after a short while, it's not worth full price right now, if they add more content to the game (which it desperately fucking needs) then that might change.
If you have gamepass then it's worth playing, otherwise, don't pay the asking price, it's worth like £20 - £30 at most.
For $1 I'm not complaining at all. Pop it on for an hour and mess around a bit.
